¡Somos chicas, somos inventores y tenemos la capacidad de hacer cualquier cosa que los niños pueden hacer! Un programa en Australia, llamado Girls Invent , esta impulsando a las chicas a entrar en áreas de estudio tradicionalmente dominado por los hombres. En un artículo reciente del Australian Broadcasting Company, el fundador, Dr. Mark Glazebrook, es entrevistado, junto con tres participantes sobre este programa para chicas de 7 a 10 años de edad. Actualmente el programa esta siendo adaptado para también motivar a mujeres en África a hacer lo mismo. "Tenemos una perspectiva de justicia social muy fuerte donde creemos que las niñas deberian de tener la oportunidad de crear su propio negocio si ellas quieren." dice el Dr. Glazebrook. But it’s a short list when you take into consideration that there are still places in this world where women and girls have limited access to education, the Internet, and the languages that communicate messages of empowerment.
